Welcome to the "VOTE FOR MARLA YOUNG" blog. I have a great love for the election process, which is ever-changing in its administration and process. I thoroughly enjoy serving the people of Box Elder County and have done so for over twenty years. I strive to uphold quality customer service skills while maintaining efficiency. I am a creative thinker who can see the whole picture and find ways to accomplish whatever needs to be done. I believe in being resourceful and keeping the taxpayer in mind when making decisions. I believe in change when progress is needed.
On a personal note, I am a creative ambitious, hardworking person. I am married to Rick Young who is an educator. I am the mother of five children, grandmother to two. I have had a home based business "The Rustic Cottage" since 1994. I enjoy quilting, papercrafting, creating, interior design, playing a great ball game, spending time with my family and friends, and serving my community.
